Dr. McEvoy has engaged in group work and adult counseling and psychotherapy for over 25 years. He specializes in facilitating groups, individual counseling, and relationship counseling. When working with individuals he specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression.

He started his career in group work and adult counseling in Massachusetts. Since moving to the Capital District he has worked with various clinical groups and practices in the Albany, New York, area. He served as director of a New York State Mental Health Clinic near the Albany area. He has been a visiting professor in a local college where he taught communication and clinical work.

At present he conducts his practice out of Clifton Park, New York
